The days are now over when we need to have a cdrom drive to install windows. Now we have the fasted medium avaialable to install windows whether it is xp, vista or the latest release windows seven which is pen drive or a flash drive. So now what are the requirement….

The very first must need thing will be tthe software which is capable of copying the setup files needed to run the windows installation and of course a pen drive along with the setup disk ( whether it is windows xp, vista or seven) and a pc with a cdrom/rw drive.

Now let we have some talk about the software, the one i have found very effective and tested is Novicorp Wintoflash is very small application and with a very easy user interface explained below…

So first you need to download the application from this link or visit the publisher website and run it on a computer with a cd drive.

Now the first screen comes will be as like shown below

Now insert the Windows Setup Disk into the drive and click windows setup transfer wizard from the screen shown above. Now you will be provided the option to choose the destination drive and source drive, choose the appropriate option and click next..

The next window you get will be theend user license and accept it and click continue amnd that’s it, with in minutes you will be ready with a usb flash drive from which you can install windows to any system which doesn’t have a CD drive.

Note: Make sure that you don;t have any important data over the pen drive as this setup will format it. And on the destination PC where you want to use it make sure that its bios support the booting form pen drive. ( Today almost every support this feature and this can be activated by pressing F8 when you switch on the computer)
