Check if a Webpage is safe and secure for Browsing

This entry was written by .

There are millions of millions of pages online full of wide variety of information… but not all of them can be considered as safe. As among those sites there are several pages which may contain malicious code which finally involves too much security risk. But, now,  the biggest problem is… we even don’t know what website is harmful to us and is recording our information.

So how to find such pages and that’s also without visiting to the site. Don’t worry, you can overcome this situation… using any reputed URL Scanner. With such scanners you can scan the whole website for you in seconds for trustworthiness, privacy, reliability and other important aspects.

Though there are many online scanners available but here are few which I have tested and seems to be working fine.

1. WOT (Web of Trust) which provides you with 2 ways of scanning, either scan the URL online or download the plugin for your Chrome or Firefox browser and scan the page right there itself.

2. Another scanner on my list is, of course, the Norton Safe Web. Enter the URL of the web page and press the enter button. It will provide the scan result instantly.

3. and the third which I have tested is  AVG Online Scanner which also works in the same way. Simple and convenient to use like the others mentioned before.

So whenever you are in doubt or suspect the genuineness of a web page, you know what to do, right? Leave a comment below to let me know how you liked this post.
