Even after removing the device each and every description remains well stored on our system. So now the question arises what if we would like to know how many devices we have used till date with any particular pc or any particular settings we would like to restore for any device to be used on another pc?.

USBDeview is a small and free utility that lists all USB devices that currently connected to your computer, as well as all USB devices that have previously used. The tool displays many things like Device name/description, device type, serial number (for mass storage devices), the date/time that device was added, VendorID and ProductID.
