If you very frequently use number keys placed right side of the keyboard while you sit on your pc… for calculation; but this is your daily task to first press Numlock key to make it on before working then here is a good tip for you which will automatically enable the Numlock lid in on position so that you don’t need to press it every time with a system restart.
So you have Numlock lid off by default… follow the step by step description…
1. Press Windows logo key + R button to open windows run menu. (You can also use START > RUN)
2. Type Regedit to open registry editor.
3. Once the Registry editor opens navigate to HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel\Keyboard
4. Now from the right side change the value for InitialKeyboardIndicators from 0 to 2.
This will resolve your problem…. and force windows to have Numlock lid automatically on with windows.
In case if you want to revert the changes then the all the steps remain safe till 3… and fourth one just change the values back…. that’s it… enjoy..
