How to install a firefox plugin? or from where to disable them?

From the day I have posted this article on Most Downloaded Top Ten Firefox Plugin / Add-ons – for better enhancements I received several mails as if they have several plugin downloaded but doesn’t know how to install it over the system. So this is why decided there should be a brief description as how to install a Mozilla Add on? Not only about installing but you can here also find the way to disable them again if you have found it of no use.

So let us know … How to install a plugin… with the preface I have started the this article you must have thought that this would be going to be very complex method… but it is quite the other way round very much simple to only dragging and dropping… Surprised? The only process it requires first you downloaded the required plugin and unzip it if requires. Here note it that FireFox addon comes with an extension of .xpi, now click and hold your left mouse button and drag it to the any open FireFox window.

This will pop up an window shown below with the plugin name , click on Install now button … that’s all… plugin would have been installed… is not so easy…

But now the question is how you can disable any instlled plugin so to this follow these simple instruction described below:

1.  Go to Tools> Add ons

2. From the resulting windows look over the above tab and click on extension menu.

3. This will show all the add-ons installed from there you can disable any plug-in you want..
