“This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator”.

If the massage is in the routine whenever you click over any one of your drives then it may be because of the browser settings which has been changed or may be your browser is outdated.

However whatever may be the reasons behind the problem but the only best solution to recover from such a situation is to restore your default browser from whatever you are using to Internet Explorer and if it is already the default one then update it with the latest version.

To do so Go to control panel and open add remove program and then click on Set Program Access and Defaults.

•    Open up the configuration whichever is selected and change the default web browser to something else.

If in case the above solution doesn’t work for you then try the following steps using registry editor

•    Open registry editor and search (Ctrl + F) for the value nocontrolpanel.
•    Change its value from 1 to 0.

Hope any one of the solution will work for you enjoy
